Pumpkins!

Jimmy and I are traditionalists. We love the different seasons, love the holidays, and most of all, we love all the traditions that come with them. So naturally as the fall time greeted us this year, we wanted to go apple picking and Jimmy actually found a place!! 2-3 hours away but totally worth it! Well.... turns out it was a bit more than that... at least 4 hours away and since we now have a wee little baby, we decided prob not actually worth it. BUT then Tevia found this AWESOME place, schepnef farms and so we went there... Still about 1-2 hours away but it was seriously AWESOME! It had everything. From pig racing to those fun swing rides. We really enjoyed ourselves. We went with Bret and Tevs and their kids and then Webb and his girls. And Lexi was superb!! She didn't cry at ALL on the ride there and then on the way to lunch she only cried for about 5-10 min. And at the farm, she was really good too! Especially considering the fact that it was way sunny and her terrible mother (me) forgot sunscreen! But we got a baby bjorn and she seemed to just love walkin around close to her daddy all day =)

And for FHE this week we carved our pumpkins with the fam. LOL ours did not come out as intended (Jimmy blames it on the light, since it was getting dark and we did them outside) but I think he just got a little lazy =) Anyways it will do and it awaits the tricker treaters at our door. Gotta love the fall!
