Best Friends

I have been wanting to write this post for so long! but we have just been so busy... with our new best friends =)

Jimmy and I have not had a couple that we have been able to call our best friends (that lived by us) since we got married. Almost 6 years.

So sad.

Because of all the moving, crazy schedules, and then being with family so much (which for the record, were and still are great great friends to us!) while we lived in Glendale, we just didn't have that one couple that we always hung out with.

Well, that has all changed this summer. And it is one of the biggest blessings ever.

Best friends really do change your life.

It has been AWESOME!

Now, while living in Cottonwood, we have made lots of amazing friends. The Murrays, the Stockbridges, the Grahams, the Reays... We have done so much with all of these incredible families.

But a couple months ago, a new family moved into the area... walking distance mind you! and now we could not imagine life with out them!

The Andersons! Doug and Jess and their two girls Abby and Emmi.

I kid you not, I have seen Jess every single day for over a month. Every single day. And last week because Doug's schedule was awesome (he is a resident at the hospital), we played games and talked every single night of the week.

Abby and Emmi's beds just remain set up in our guest bedroom because it has become so normal for them to come and stay late.

We have had countless dinners together, played so so many games, talked for hours, gone hiking, have even had family sleepovers, and we have just enjoyed every second of it.

And if Doug or Jimmy is busy working, Jess and I still see each other everyday and now it's just become  routine to have lunch together.

It's become one of those friendships now where their house feels like home to us too and vice versa.

It is seriously the best.

AND because of them, we have been able to trade off babysitting to go on dates. Jimmy and I have been on more dates in the last 2 months then we have in the last 3 years!

We are so happy that they have moved here and just seriously could not be more grateful for their friendship. Even though it makes us super busy and we all get like 3 hours of sleep every night =)

We love you guys.
