It's a Snow Miracle!

So we had a miracle happen the very last day of 2014.

Snow.

It was amazing. I honestly had forgotten how magical snow can be (I haven't lived in an area that snows since 2008) and even though we got an hour's worth last year it was just a flurry and didn't stick.

This snow stuck.

In fact it stayed on the ground for days!

Again, it was amazing.

Obviously, the kids thought so too. 

Unfortunately, we were all still pretty sick over here when this happened, so I didn't let them play out there too long. And of course it was when Jimmy started work, so he couldn't join us.

But it was still just awesome!

We played, had some hot chocolate, and then snuggled on the couch to watch a couple shows and movies. Such a fun snow day!
