Christmas Eve 2019

 This Christmas Eve was a little different because we were ridin' solo for most of it, when usually its a big family affair.

But because we were infected over here, things were a bit different.

We got take out and watched Frost together as a family and it was very peaceful.

We missed the family though and so we actually stopped at Jakes for a bit and did a couple fun rounds of hide and seek in the dark.

We met Grandma and Grandpa there and then they came back with us to sleep here so that they could wake up with us on Christmas morning.

After we came home, the kids all got in their Christmas jams and each of them got to open their one gift. It was so fun to watch how excited they were.

And then of course, before bed, Lexi and Izaac got out the milk and cookies for dear old Santa. 

Lexi, wrote him a nice little note again too.
