It's Raining, It's Pouring!

Oh my goodness, we got a lot of rain last month! 

And most of the time (except when I would want to go running) it was AWESOME!

It was seriously so fun having so many rainy afternoons. For some reason, that's usually when it would come. (Though we did have quite a few thunderstorms at night too)

The rain made for a really nice change.

And because it's still hot here, the kids got to play outside in it a lot, which we all really enjoyed.

Especially our little Iz!

HE LOVES THE RAIN!

I will never forget the first time I let him go out there and just play in it. 

He was seriously ecstatic.
He just loved that water would continue to just come on down. He thought it was hilarious.

He also kept sticking his tongue out to get some in his mouth which no one even showed him first!

Hehe he was extra adorable out there and it was so fun to watch.

Lexi especially loved being able to use the umbrella and also being able to put on her "rain coat" that  she hasn't gotten to wear yet. 

Of course she didn't put the rain coat on, until she was already wet... =)
