Fourth of July!

We had a great fourth of July this year.

It was special because my parents got to be here and it's always an exciting day now just because we know Lake Powell is JUST around the corner. 

We stayed in Cottonwood that morning for our annual ward breakfast which was fun.

Came home to pack & clean up for a bit, and also to make some things for dinner later that day.

And then, soon we were on the road to Jake and Cari's to eat and be with everyone.

The food was fantastic and it's always just so fun being with and watching everyone together as a family.

The girls went out shopping for some last minute things, some people swam, and then that night we did some sparklers and had dessert. (which I gotta say, this trifle that I tried... you mix sweetened condensed milk in the pudding... was heavenly lol)

The  whole day went by pretty fast and before we knew it we were on our way back home and excited to leave for Powell the next day!
