Happppppy Birthdayyy to Lexi!!!

Man oh man! 

Our little Lexi is now 4!!

(what?!?!?!?)

We had such a fun day celebrating her day!

We celebrated a couple days earlier than her actual birthday this year all due to the fact that her Daddy was working  in Phoenix on her real birthday and since I am a birthday fanatic, I thought it would be so much better if we were home all together for the whole day instead of being without daddy or not being home. 

It worked out great for Lexi too because since we chose to do it a bit early, Grandma got to be there (who just happens to be one of Lexi's favorite people in the world) so it was really nice.

Also, we picked a day that Jake and Cari were able to be there the night before so that they could set up their big gift for Lexi that night, so that she could wake up to it all put together the next morning

Ya.... She definitely had a good birthday lol =)

We of course were ready for the birthday girl right when she woke up 

It was cute to then watch her run around a bit to see what was out there for the day.

And once she found Princess Sofia (the giant balloon) it was love at first sight.

If you can't tell already... that was basically her birthday theme this year.

After some dancing we had some breakfast. pancakes, eggs, toast, and of course, the birthday girl's fav... bacon =)

And then finally we told her she had a big surprise waiting for her in the playroom.

I think it's safe to say, she liked it =)

It didn't take long....

A little bit later Grandma and Jarek, Malik, and Enok arrived and we had some pizza, opened the presents, and had some cake.

Definitely a lot more simple than last year lol

Can't say I loved the way it turned out but Lexi was thrilled and seeing her happy reaction was all that I needed.
