Happy 4th!!
There are still some posts I wanted to do that "should" come before this one but oh well!
We had a fantastic fourth of July! It was just us but seriously sometimes that is actually really nice and yesterday it was! For the record though, we did miss the fam!
We ended up going to Bret's for a little while to swim and had a blast. I had gotten Lexi a couple new pool toys and she was just in heaven, especially with the car! She has just grown to love swimming so much! It makes it both fun and EASY for me and Jim. We were able to just sit and relax in the sun while she swam for awhile. She is perfectly fine to just be swimmin' on her own, so as long as she has her floaties on she is good to go!
After swimming for a bit, we decided to actually go out for lunch. We have had this deal/coupon at Reyas De La Torta for a long time now and thought we should finally use it. It was sensational! Jimmy's drink especially! It was called an Eskimo of some sort and it was heavenly. And then my Hawayana burger was out of this world! Its been almost a year since we have been here and it was even better than I had remembered!
Worth the calories... Heck YES!
Lexi enjoyed her quesadilla, rice, and beans too and loved that her drink had a little umbrella in it. I thought this was cute as well! =)
And Izaac (unlike Lexi when she was that age) was a perfect little baby and just sat in his seat lookin around and sleepin as we ate. Such a great time!
We then came home and all of us took some long naps, except for Lexi of course! Lol that girl is just another species sometimes! We had some snacks later, looked up some homes, (can't believe we are moving still!) and Jimmy and I watched a movie after Lexi went down. WHO by the way!!!!!!!.... went to bed herself and only got up twice last night! Woo hoo!!
