Card Making Morning

This Saturday morning we woke up and got cracking on some Valentine's Day cards. Both kids got pretty in to it. I love that they were so excited to send the people that they love homemade cards to tell them. 

It was particularly fun for me to watch Lexi. She reminds me so much of myself, it's crazy. 

She is so creative and particular. I loved watching her work so hard. And I also loved watching her light up after she would look over a card that she had just finished. She is so cute.

After we finished we took a drive over to the "blue mailbox" to send some of the lovin'.

It was definitely a fun way to start the day!
