Simple As Poster Board

I feel like in today's society, mothers, myself included, constantly feel pressure to engage our kids in big exciting activities. ALL THE TIME. Staying home and letting them "just play" is almost frowned upon now. It's just not enough...

I try so hard to remember that it actually is. 

This morning I gave the kids some poster board and was so amazed at how excited they were. And not only that but they worked on them for almost 2 whole hours straight!

Something so simple turned out to be so engaging and positive.

I think I need to be better about not feeling guilty when they are "just home" doing simple things.

It is enough.
