The FOURTH!

What an awesome day! This is the kind of day that I would most definitely do again if I could because it was just so good! 

First, we woke up to clouds. This may sound weird but it actually made me so excited! Being that it is sunny here every single day of every single week, having some clouds made for a delightful change =) 

That morning we got to spend some quality time together as a family since Jimmy was off. Having our Jimmy home with us on a week day is such a treat. Lexi was having so much fun that she didn't go down for a nap until like noon! She was just too excited and happy! 

Then, by the afternoon, those clouds gave us some rain! It was so nice to see and hear. And I got to work on my puzzle as it drizzled outside for a bit. It was so calm and seriously so wonderful! 

After Lexi woke up we drove down to Scottsdale to join Bret and Tevia and their boys at the Westin Resort that they were staying at. We had such a good time. We got to go in the lazy river and be lazy, sit outside and talk, and swim in the pool. It was fun to watch Jimmy and Lexi in the pool as Lexi was seriously LOVING it. 

We then got some pizza for dinner, which I have to say was awesome! And then that night when we came back home, we watched the NYC firework show for a bit and had a family dance party in our living room. Lexi was up way past her bedtime! It was definitely one of those perfect days.
