Lexi is TWO!!!

Lexi is now a big TWO years old!

Lexi's birthday once again fell on a date when not the whole family was around (Jake, Cari, and Dad were in Alaska) so we opted to do the big celebration a day later, so that everyone could be there (ok not everyone, but everyone that lives here!). It was so so fun for us to have Mom and Dad here for the celebration too.

I just LOVE birthdays!

Anywho, so on Lexi's actual birthday, we didn't do a whole lot, especially because it fell on a Sunday. But we did go into her room singing "Happy Birthday" when we heard that she had woken up.. She was a little confused but you could tell she was happy for the extra attention =).

And we did let her open up one gift from us.

A magic baby bottle and a magic baby cup of juice. The liquid appears to disappear when you turn it upside down, or feed baby. Lexi really has become quite the amazing mommy around here and she was just THRILLED that she had "Real" items to give to all of her dolls and stuffed animals. It was a hit!

We also blew up some balloons. Oh my goodness! She LOVED them!

The next day was her real party and it was so fun! I have a little obsession with balloons, so there were quite a few =) which Lexi did not mind! and we had some other fun Dora decorations since Dora and Boots are just Lex's favorite thing! 

And we got lucky because last year Lexi had two birthday tutu's and the one was too big but it actually fit perfect this year!

We also had some yummy snacks and pizza since it is Lexi's number one choice!

And of course we had cake!! It's not the best job ever but I was happy since it was my first really detailed cake!

She was a pro at blowing them out!

Maybe we should take the party dress off to eat it...

Lexi had a blast with her cousins, aunts and uncles, and of course Grandma and Grandpa. 

She also loved all her gifts! She is one lucky girl!

It was fun to watch her play with her gifts. She especially loved her stroller. She's going to be an awesome mommy one day!

She also liked opening the Elefun game! We had it all ready to go as soon as she opened it and it was cute to see her excited/startled reaction.

It was a fun second birthday! We are so blessed to have Lexi in our lives and to be able to give her so many things.
