Cookies and Friends

Shortly after school started for Lexi last year, I encouraged her to make friends and told her that she was always welcome to have play dates here at our house. 

Well, one of the first girls that she mentioned she wanted to come over, turned out to be a great and lasting friendship! Her name is Olivia and she is super cute!

It put me out of my comfort zone, but I tracked down her mom and what do you know? we became good friends too! 

These girls have had play dates regularly ever since!

Here they are decorating Valentines cookies together. I really should take more pictures of her with her friends but for some reason I don't.

Izaac was thrilled that they let him join in on the fun.
