Party Party Party!

One of the main reasons why we went to New York when we did was because it was Izaac's first birthday! No one on Jimmy's side of the family had met him yet and we thought it would be perfect to introduce him on his special day!

And since there are quite a few people in Jimmy's family, we decided that a party for Izaac would be the perfect excuse and idea to have somewhat of a big family reunion. 

Of course, I was thrilled and super excited! I LOVE birthdays and parties and people and Izaac! =)

So I had so much fun putting everything together. And am so grateful to my parents and Jimmy for helping me do all sorts of stuff before everyone came. They were great helpers.

It was so much fun seeing everyone! And again, seeing so many people so interested in our kids. They were both played with and taken care of the whole time! Which was awesome because I got to mingle and talk a lot!

We had a bunch of different appetizers for food (I really only got one picture of that table...lol)

and then we had a desserts table which was my favorite part of the decorations

I had so much fun putting this table together!  

Another highlight of the party was of course, Izaac being sung to. He wasn't too happy at first, but as soon as he tasted just one lick of the frosting on his cupcake, his attitude somewhat changed =)

Lexi was kind enough to "help" blow out his candle for him

And well... he wasn't the happiest boy when the cupcake and frosting ran out

Luckily for him, he got cleaned up and his nona was willing to hold and cuddle him until he fell asleep

He's a lucky little one year old.

We had so much fun celebrating with everyone. 

Thanks Izaac for giving us all an excuse to party!
