Hello Summer!!!

Today was Lexi's last day of school and the first grade!! Wooot woot!!

Dunkin donuts to celebrate this morning and THEN, as soon as Lexi walked out of that school door this afternoon we got in the car and drove up to Sedona to do some camping!

I can't think of a better way to start off the summer.

We are so proud of you Lexi for being such a great student for a whole- nother year. Never a complaint ever from her teacher. She's a gem =)

Here is me waving to Lexi goodbye from the office. Something we had to do EVERYday as she would not say goodbye to me anywhere else. 

So we'd go into the office, I'd kiss her and say goodbye. And then I would wait for her to get to her classroom and before she would go in, we would wave to each other.

Every. Single. Day.

Well. Today was the last day we will ever do that. Goodbye first grade. Goodbye hallway. 

C'ya never again =)

(Next year we are saying goodbye at the gate!)
