Expedition Adventures

Ever since we got the expedition and got home from New Mexico, we have been taking little trips. Mostly in the evening when the weather is literally perfect. Sometimes Jimmy takes one of the kids alone or sometimes it's all of us. And we just drive for a bit in our new ride with the windows down and the music on loud. And usually there is a stop that comes with it. Sometimes we get food or ice cream. Sometime we get drinks. Sometimes we go and play basketball. And sometimes we go to a park.

Well tonight it was two fold. We went for a little drive and then decided we wanted Chinese food. So while we were waiting to pick it up we went to this park that Daddy and Lexi had passed on their little drive a couple days ago.

For some reason it felt so serene. There we were as a family, in the perfect weather, just enjoying our time. No cares in the world. 

I think I am still feeling just extra grateful for everything right now. 

Anyways, it was a beautiful night and I didn't have to cook dinner =)
