Picking Peaches

For the last couple of years I have wanted to go and pick peaches at Snepf Farms and every year it just didn't work out. But this year it did! And not only that but we got to go with our best friends! Melissa and her sweet girls.

I absolutely love spending time with Melissa. Every time, the matter how long it's already been, it just never seems like it's long enough.

It's funny because honestly the weather hasn't been hot at all this week BUT it definitely got hot today lol.

We set out to pick peaches and by around 10 it was already feeling pretty warm. We stuck it out though and stayed until about noon. We got some snacks, road on the train, and we let the kids play on the playground for quite some time. It's kind of sad to think that our outside days are limited at this point. Pretty soon it's going to be the pool or nothing lol.

The kids had so much fun picking peaches. And there were SO many. It was shocking too because this was the last week that you could do it and there was STILL SO MANY. Every tree had probably a hundred peaches. So it was really easy for the kids to do it themselves.

I did have to weed out a bunch of them though lol. I probably should have explained to the kids that they shouldn't be too soft before letting them loose on the hunt. But eventually we ended up with a good full box. And they smelt amazing.

After all the farm fun we went over to Chic Fil A for lunch. Which was kind of perfect because we got peach shakes =)

Then the kids and I blasted music the whole way home. It was a great day.
