Izaac is FIVE!

Izaac James Cox you are F I V E years old!!!

And for some reason five just seems so much older than four!! Ughh.

Izaac, you play such a big part in our family. There are so many things about you that we all desperately need and love.

For instance, your sense of humor. You are constantly making us all laugh. With your fighting moves, your dance moves, your faces, your comments, your loud crazy sounds, your fake farting and burping noises, and just your smile can light up the whole house. It is so constant too. Even if you get upset, you are back at it in 5 seconds. You definitely are all about the fun!!

We also love all of your exciting and animated stories. You are an awesome story teller! Your voice changes. Your eyes get wide. And you'll even pause for dramatic effects lol. It's the cutest. Often times your stories come at such a perfect time too. They help bring so much happiness and cheer to the house.

You match Lexi's enthusiasm about being a girl effortlessly, with your own about being a boy. You are still 100 % man! You love sports, swords, fighting, guns, anything gross, competition, nintendo, making inappropriate noises, trains, cars... ANYthing BOY.  It's so funny that you both are so proud of your specific gender. We LOVE it though. We love having the best of both worlds over here.

And I think more specifically we love that you are so into sports. Watching you play already has hands down, been one of the most rewarding things for me as a parent and you are only just now turning 5!! So boy, let me tell you, how excited I am for the future!! 

And not only do you like to play every sport (you even make new ones up!) but you also love to watch sports as well. This is also so fun for us. Because you are genuinely concerned about who wins! This adds some extra flare and makes it so it's something that has been bonding for us.

One thing that I most certainly have to say about you right now is that you absolutely love love love music. You love to bob your head to the beat. You love to sing along. And you also love to dance. I think it's unanimous over here though that we all love your singing the best. Because it really is the best. You take your singing very seriously and it's something I love watching you do with every fiber of my being. 

You Izaac, are also an incredible big brother. Your love for Zavier is so powerful and it makes me so immensely happy to watch you protect, love, help, and admire him.  I hope it's an everlasting friendship.

Let's see. You really are probably the loudest boy on the face of the planet.
You have a sincere love for your legos still and play them for hours literally every single day.
You make these "bats" and I find them just about everywhere.
Your favorite band is Imagine Dragons and we are definitely taking you to their next show here.
You love Pokemon.
You hate wearing underwear lol.
You absolutely love to go swimming but so far you are still scared to leave the step.
You are still somewhat obsessed with clothes and what you are wearing actually is a big deal to you. Sometimes it's really cute and sometimes it's extremely frustrating lol. (Like right now, you refuse to wear any pants at all. Or any shorts that aren't mesh) Ughhhh!
However, lately your new style is having long soccer socks on and then regular socks on over that. And it's actually kind of cute =)

You are my star Izaac James. I am already so proud of who you are. I thank my Heavenly Father every night for sending me you every single day. I hope you have the most amazing year a five year old could possibly have! =)
