Bearizona!

Back in April, Bearizona did a Law Enforcement day, where all police officers statewide, got to get into the park for free with their families. 

So we got to go! 

We made the day of it and went with one of Jimmy's best buddies from work, Chris and his family.

His wife Christina is super nice and I wish we lived closer to them so that we could hang out more often, 

They live in Flagstaff (which is where the park is), so we first hung out at their place for awhile.

And then we went to the park.

The first part, you drive through in your car.

THANK GOODNESS.

Because it was FREEZING!

I felt like the worst mother ever, because I had no idea how cold it was up there!

So our kids weren't quite properly dressed.

Off we go!

Here was the first animal we saw.

Izaac, instantly became ecstatic

This animal looked so funny and fake to me haha

Flagstaff maybe cold, but it really is a pretty place. I still think it's crazy how many trees are there.

All of a sudden, they just all appear as you are driving up. Pretty cool.

The buffalo! Jimmy still.... would not turn and smile for me

About half way, we let the kids come and sit in the front with us.

Izaac loved that he got to take the wheel

The bear part was definitely the most exciting.

But someone would not let me roll my window down to take better shots!

There was a sign that said, "Please don't roll your windows down", during this part

And someone took that very seriously.

Hahahaha, every time I would go to try, he got so nervous.

You would think the brave ex-Marine, police officer, wouldn't be so worried =)

Lexi would not smile the entire trip.

She hated being in the car that long, and she HATED the cold.

We told her a couple times, we would make her sleep in the cave if she didn't cheer up, but she didn't think that was funny at all.

Oh, and she also thought all the animals were either scary or ugly lol

Izaac had a good ole' time though.

I don't even think he noticed the cold one bit

After the driving part, we got out and walked around for a bit.

They have some other fun exhibits there and some shops and stuff.

Poor girl.

These little bears were fun to watch.

They were very active the whole time we were there.

It's too bad it wasn't warmer, because I would have liked to sit and watch them longer.

Here are the Greens.

We had so much fun hanging out with them.

Such a great family.

And here is super dad. Holding both kids at once.

Mommy was mean and told Lexi she wouldn't carry her the whole time.

Obviously Daddy is much nicer.

The last stop we made was the petting zoo.

Izaac's favorite part.

Lexi on the other hand, was done.

So me and her went back to the van while everyone else had a bit more fun.

And then after the park, we all went to Freddy's and got some yummy lunch.

SO good!

It was a really nice day.
