Some Family Adventuring!

My Mother's Day gift from Jimmy this year, was getting to go to Hobby Lobby and picking out anything that I wanted. (the best!)

This then, also meant, a fun family trip to Prescott!

Now, don't get me wrong, the Hobby Lobby part was awesome. I picked out a cute decoration to put on our bedroom wall. BUT, the best part of the day was going to Watson Lake Park afterwards.

We had passed this park once or twice before out in Preccott, but never had time to go, so this time it was actually on our agenda. 

And it really was so much fun! 

We first stopped at the play ground, since we promised the kids we would.

Then, right across the street from the park were some cool rocks and hiking trails, so we walked over there for a bit and got some fun family pictures.

Then, we let Lexi ride her bike for a little bit, since it's hard to really do on our driveway and street at home. 

She was a pro!

And finally we went over to the lake. 

It was gorgeous, and perfect weather!

The kids' favorite part was definitely going down to the shore with the ducks and then throwing rocks (or anything) in the water.

Izaac was NOT happy when we told him it was time to go home. 

Lexi LOVED being able to put her feet in the water. (Izaac did NOT)

That one may just be a bit to big for you Iz =)

I could have taken a thousand pictures this day.

It really was one of those perfect days. 

 I am so grateful for times like this with my family.

They make me happy.
