National Pancake Day!

Man, do we love pancakes around here! Ever since buttermilk has become a staple over here sometime last year, we can't make buttermilk pancakes enough. 

I love it too because they are so easy to make, the kids eat SO much and generally don't even ask for snacks that morning since they are still so full from breakfast. 

Anyways, we are always trying new things when it comes to these pancakes, usually in new fun shapes. 

However, we decided to try something totally new and add some color in lite of National Pancake day this year.

Even though they browned a bit after cooking them, the kids thought they were the coolest thing. It always makes me feel so amazing when these little things just make them so happy. 

Being a mom is the best!
