Happpy Leap Year!!!

This year we got to celebrate leap year!

Since we are always looking for a good excuse for some partying and cake over here, we took full advantage of the special day. 

We played all day and then after dinner, I told Lexi that she was in charge of the cake. I literally let her do almost every single step by herself from beginning to end. It was super cute to watch her as she listened to each step carefully and then tried to do it. 

For the record, she did awesome! And the cake tasted great!

We even lit some candles on it and sang happy birthday to leap day.

Oh and Lexi decided that Leap day was turning 3 =)
