Air Show

This year we were invited to go to the air show with Bret and Tevia's family. 

Like usual it was taking place at the air force base, which now, happens to be pretty close to our house.

It's actually been really fun this week seeing and hearing all the planes practicing for the weekend.

Anyways, because we live so close it made sense to do breakfast at our place and then head over to the base all together as a big group.

And this... kind of happened lol

Breakfast did. 

We had some yummy pancakes, sausage, eggs, and fruit. 

But then things took an unexpected turn.

Jimmy or me weren't ready to run out the door just yet when everyone started to leave. We still had to get some stuff together and Izaac and Zavier were still in pajamas. Okay, I'll be honest, I was in pajamas too lol.

So when people started leaving, we just said we would meet them at the airshow. 

Well, Lexi really wanted to go with Bret and Tevia and since she was already dressed, she asked if she could just go with them. And luckily for her, Bret and Tevs didn't see a problem with that lol

So, why not right??

So we bid her farewell and told her we'd see her in 20 minutes or so at the base.

Hahaha! Ya... that didn't happen.

After driving around, for literally over 30 minutes, and FINALLY getting to the right place, Jimmy up and decided that he didn't really think it was a good idea to go onto the base after all.

Ooops. 

So we ended up just parking close to the base to watch.

So, Lexi made out like a bandit.

From what I have heard, she got to go on cool slides, got ice cream, a cheeseburger, and got to spend the day with her aunt, uncle, and cousins.

And she said she had the best time!

But! We actually had a really fun time. The weather was perfect too!
