Fort Fun

SPRING BREAK 2018

has officially come and gone.

And we didn't waste any time for fun either.

Sunday night, before the week began, the kids helped me make a pretty enormous fort in the loft and man, were they were over the moon excited!! lol

They ended up sleeping in the fort for the entire week too. It wasn't until the next Sunday morning that we actually took it down.

It was cute because each night they would set up their beds in a different spot under all the blankets. And for Izaac, this does not just include his sleeping bag and pillow. 

But his whole family of small stuffed animals =)

It was also cute to hear them to go from whispering back and forth at night to full on loud belly laughs. 

I absolutely love love love how close they are and that they genuinely like spending time with one another.

The definitely are buddies.

Yay for Spring break and fun new traditions, because I think all of us are sold on doing this big fort thing again next year!! =)
