Our Little Two Year Old
Oh Izaac boy,
Words could never express how much I love you.
You are my snuggly little bug and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Cuddling with you and seeing how much you love to cuddle with me, is definitely one of my favorite things in the whole world.
Your hugs and snuggles always come at just the perfect moments too, and I just know you were sent to me for so many reasons.
So I just want to thank you for that =)
Watching you grow up has been so fun. You are developing quite the personality and you are constantly making us laugh.
I still just can't believe you are already TWO!
You are still absolutely in love with your blanket. You sleep with it, carry it everywhere, and continue to stuff it in your mouth.
I have to wash it at least twice a week, sometimes three.
You are starting to make the funniest faces and noises, and you do it on purpose to make us laugh and smile. It is hilarious and we love that you like to joke and play.
One of the best faces is when you roll your eyes back. It is impossible not to laugh.
You have a love for dinosaurs and are constantly "roaring".

This is why we had a dinosaur cake for your birthday.
You love to watch them, play with them, and pretend to be them.
They are definitely one of your favorite things.
Another one of your favorite things are trains.
At least once a day, you spend 30 minutes or more "choo chooing" around the house just all by yourself, with some sort of train, whether it be the lego ones or the brio ones.
And it is the cutest thing watching you do this and continue to say "choo choo!"
You love to lay with Daddy and watch train you tube videos too. Something Daddy also loves.
You can be such a brave little boy!
You really have not liked bugs/lizards at all and they definitely make you jump, BUT you also are determined to kill them or even touch them!
Whenever there is a roach or cricket in the basement, you scream "bug!" and act all scared, but then you get a paper towel and actually try to get it yourself.
I just think this is amazing because you, on your own, are facing your fear.
And with lizards, at first you are too scared to hold one or touch it, but you really don't give up. And within minutes you touch it longer, and then a little bit longer... until you are able to actually hold it.
It has been so interesting watching you conquer some of these issues, because no one is forcing you to touch, hold, or kill anything.
Pretty awesome =)
You LOVE to say "no!"
I think you are programmed to have to say one hundred "no's" a day, minimum.
Sometimes you are screaming it, while you are on the floor, kicking your feet, and other times, you really are just saying it over and over, for no apparent reason at all .
You are SO good at talking!
For a two year old boy, you truly are way ahead of the game with words and talking. And not only do you say so much, but you pronounce things so so well!
It really is amazing, and it makes my life so much easier because I can just ask you what you want, and you can just tell me.
You are even saying full sentences now like,
"I broke it", "Where is it?", or "Please more _____ (whatever it is)"
Hehe and you also sing some songs too =)
You LOVE "Monkeys on the bed" and "Sunbeam" the most and you are so cute and animated when you sing them.
Another thing about you right now is that you love the outdoors. You truly are in your happiest of places when you are outside. You could stay outside for hours and it is never easy making you come back inside or to go back into the car. And you could care less about being dirty. Sand in your eyes/hair, dirt in your mouth, mud on your hands, water all over you, none of that seems to bother you in the slightest.
It is clear you are most definitely a boy.

Now here are some facts and favs.
You love baths and the hose but are terrified of big areas of water, like lakes. For some reason, you won't even let a toe touch the water...
You LOVE salsa. It has replaced ketchup for almost everything. And if there is any left over, you have no problem just eating the salsa plain lol
You sleep so great in your big bed still. You still never try to get up ever.
You still hate getting your diaper changed and I long for the day we are rid of them forever
Your favorite movie right now is Dumbo
Your favorite food is most definitely pizza
Your favorite toy are your trains
You love to color, especially with markers
Your favorite color is orange, without a doubt
You weigh about 30 pounds and still considered a pretty big boy for your age

You LOVE grandpa. He is definitely your favorite person and it was actually a little hard in NY watching you prefer him sometimes over me... (don't worry I forgive you)

You hate getting strapped in your carseat! but are fine once you are actually in
You love the rain! If it is raining out, you will not leave that door until I either let you out, or the rain eventually stops.
