Still No Santa for Us
The night we dropped Karen off at the airport (yes way back in November), we happened to stop at the Anthem Outlets, on our way into Phoenix. And it just so happened to be the night of the lighting of the tallest tree in the nation.
It was super jam packed, but I was so grateful we made that stop because it made me want to come back with the kids. The tree was actually very impressive and then they had a custom built Santa house for all the kids to come and see him.
So I thought, if the kids wanted to see Santa this year, this was the place to do it.
Well, Lexi had said no from the gecko. "No, I am not sitting on Santa's lap, I'll just write him a letter."
.. K, well no surprise there.
(She asked him for a dancing doll, magnets, a purple Christmas blanket, and a Daniel the Tiger book)
However, Izaac kept saying that he did want to sit on his lap.
So the week of Christmas, Me, Jimmy, the kids, and mom and dad, met Jake and Cari, and their kids at the outlets.
However, once we stepped foot into Santa's house, Izaac had clearly changed his mind. Poor thing.
He wanted nothing to do with that old man
(he just wanted to ask Santa for a spider man toy)
Here is as close as Izaac got lol
Outside Santa's house a bit later
And a quick family picture by the tallest Christmas tree in America
Getting closer to the big day!!
